Giving women the right to vote and putting them in the workplace was practically a necessity in order to double the workforce to saturate the labor market, and also such jobs were available to women because in the eyes of capital gender had become moot and commoditized. If the US didn't let women work, then they'd be at a disadvantage to a country that did, and so the country preserving these HUMANIST (in the rare non perverted sense) values of tradition would be selected against in the meme space. Instead of being raised by their mothers, oftentimes many today spend their developing years with an impersonal caregiver, a tragedy really.
