Reason to care, where "care" is defined as expending personal energy.
The possibility that there is some form of self identity which exists after your death. Can't be ruled out, ya know, if this Universe could pop into existence from nothing then pretty much anything is possible.
Would then caring not be subjectively of interest to you? Much like as if today as a human you found something of interest to you? Merely to observe out of idle curiosity? To observe the game of humanity as the eons stretch out?
