Also, the only math really used in computer science is discrete and maybe geometry if you're doing some sort of graphic manipulation.

If you want to write good programs you should at least know fundamental discrete math.

I would agree with your real point, though, which is math isn't really a skill needed for programming.

Networking probably requires the least amount of math out of any programming. Just be able to convert dec/bin/hex/oct and you should be fine
