so what's up with stem cell research?
few years ago I thought it will be the next big think and will open countless possibilities but you rarely hear about it?
why is science so slow?

There was a major problem with scientific fraud. Over at Retraction Watch they monitor this and life sciences in general has a huge problem with fraud.

So yes, the potentials are there, but we are not as advanced in the field as first thought.

All stem fields now employ people based on forced quotas, so women and minorities are being hired above merit / skill / intelligence.

As such, we are fucked in all scientific breakthroughs but at least jamal and brenda get a free stem job if that's any condolence.
