Humans has been around on earth for approximately 200,000 years. Lets say the average lifespan of a human over all of those years is 40 years. We divide 200,000 by 40 and get 5,000. Now we know there have been approximately 5,000 periods of time we could've been born in. We now take the 1 period we were born in and divide it by 5,000 and get 0.0002, turn that into a percent and we have 0.02%. We had only a 0.02% chance of being in a global warming crisis and here we are.
