So I'm writting my master's thesis this year. Any book recs to learn about the scientific/academic writting method?

idk about style but I highly recommend getting into latex if you have not already
For scientific papers it handles all the bullshit formatting and all the small details automatically

Imagine you're trying to teach your process and findings to a similarly educated friend. Don't try to put on an "academic voice" you'll just make your writing less clear and sound like a faggot.
Everything else is details and can be cleaned up at the last minute with feedback from your advisor.

Don't fell into make-paper-like-journey-for-reader meme. I've read about that in one book about scientific writing and tried it with my thesis - I've explained my thought process step by step, chapter by chapter, motivation-theory-measurments-data-conclusions. I was really proud of it. And than I've got huge critique cause my reviewer read only the data chapter. So I had to fix that by basically repeating most information in each chapter to be sure, that it reader who will read only data part will understand my thesis.

Well, as long as it's what reviewer wants... I'm not ok with it either, but I've passed with the highest grade so at the end it was a good idea.

Oh, and it can't be labelled as auto-plagiarism if it's within single thesis.
