The best option might actually be a beam of condensed sunlight. If it were hot enough we could melt the surface into a hard shell. From there you would probably have to actually mount a rocket.
We would need a lot of time. If we were surprised by an object like this we could only attempt to deflect it the standard way. By using the force of nuclear explosions to shift its direction.
Of course this would just break something like bennu into pieces. I suspect multiple nations would launch a synchronised series of nuclear explosions at the object. Most of it would be vaporised and we would probably get our own ring system.
That would cause a whole other set of problems for a long time.
