But don't get yourself to lost, python is a good language for scientists, and you can do basically everything with it
Now, I don't think you should stop there, after learning python think what you would like to get involved... do you want to write operating systems? Do you like security? Do you want to go for hardware? web? apps? Computer science and software engineering is big.... now don't make a mistake, a paper saying you're a software engineer doesn't make you a good software engineer, or even a good coder.... it's just a paper
