I've seen both here and on other boards retards saying chess is solved. What is the rationale? Because computers can beat grand-masters most of the time? That doesn't constitute a solved game. Take two computers of equal power and have them play each other and you'll see that neither beats the other every time, white doesn't always win, draws happen a lot, black wins sometimes, and the games are wildly different from each other.
Saying "chess is solved because computers beat humans" is literally the same as saying "chess is solved because grandmasters beat 1700 ranked players".
I guess my question really comes down to, why are people so stupid?
