the process to produce hydrogen comes from electricity so it is redundant if battery technology is as good as hydrogen fuel cell

batteries are cheaper but have poor range

fuel cells have comparable range to petrol engines but are expensive and lack the infrastructure of electric cars

Lithium battery powered cars are dumb.
Maybe if they invent some new battery tech that uses common non toxic materials and is easily recyclable then it will make sense, now lithium is just absolutely retarded.

Dont know about the fuel cell tech but simple ice running on hydrogen is the futute.

In some applications, a hydrogen fuel cell is not stupid at all; but propelling a car
is not an appropriate application. For a car, battery (or diesel hybrid) is a lot better idea.

Hydrogen isn't any more difficult to transport and store than natural gas, existing gas stations could be retrofitted with minor effort

Leakage and liquefaction issues with hydrogen are an
order-of-magnitude more difficult than natural gas -- methane.

EV is already taking a decent % of market share and will win. It's the same story with vegetable based "meat" vs cultured "meat". The vegetable based ones are already scaling and will own the market by the time retarded silicon valley types grow fake meat.
