In my case people have historically naturally come to me as a leader, though I rejected the role, tried to show them how to do things themselves, and tried to show them their power. Whether I would be an effective leader at this point, I don't know.
Anyway, I highly doubt you could replicate anything in that short timescale. Even to get a basic lathe up and running in a usable way would be very difficult. Steam power? Not much easier. And how do you feed yourself in the meantime? How do you maintain your tools for farmer, slaughtering and processing animals, and so on? What about food preservation? Where are you going to get that salt? Are you really going to get refrigeration working... when? Even some shitty rubber band refrigerator, you just don't have the materials.
Nah. The best you could do is get people together and as informed as you can, and record as much as you could to leave behind a framework for the next generations.
