We are not living in a simulation, we are living on a planet with a civilisation, which has being built by the military, all the way back to ancient Egypt, as a construct around the mind, by means of consciousness, psychical architecture, hierarchy and computer science, which some refer to as a "matrix".
In in this military artificial construct, around consciousness, some people, due to the artificial nature of the civilisation and construct, may be fooled into believing we live in a "simulation" but this is a falsehood, a distortion of reality by such institutions and organisation as the police, churches and military, who have been building ruthless empires for the past 5000 years. Whereas outside this artificial construct created by the military around consciousness, you realise we live a very natural universe, and computer science, although part of the universe, exists separately, a creation of man, not the universe.
I hope this clear up and misconceptions about the universe and what we call "reality" that which we perceive to be true as humans, in relation to the structure of society.
