Mathematics professors are useless and intellectual lightweights at best. Every drop of practical knowledge and technology you possess was given to you by engineers and inventors, not mathematicians. Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Edison, The Wright Brothers have benefited the world far more than Spivak or Grothendieck and I dare anyone to try proving me wrong.
