Certain wavelengths of light bounce of objects and go in to our eyes which our brains interpret as different colors.

Things can appear translucent if the object doesn't stop visible light going through it.

My question is; if we had eyes that could see all wavelengths of light at the same time, would all objects appear translucent? or would we see everything as pure white?

I hope i can make myself understood.
