no I only did triangle and circle math in school but I do have some calculus and differential equation books.

no, that's not how you multiply a vector with a matrix

i'll give you the first line, you tell me the second

x'(t) = 0* x(t) + 1 * x'(t) + 0

see how i did that? you gotta sorta rotate the thing sitting just to the right of the matrix by 90 degrees

Dumbass, just add a (1/k)*F to your homogenous solution of this problem. When you differentiate (1/k)*F, you get 0, so you just get d^2/dx^2 of (x(t) + (1/k)*F) = d^2/dx^2 of x(t) = (-k/m)*(x(t) + (1/k)*F) + (1/m)*F = (-k/m)*x(t) - (1/m)*F + (1/m)*F = (-k/m)*x(t), so you just need to solve the homogenous differential equation x’’(t) = (-k/m)*x(t), which is obviously x(t) = c_1*cos(sqrt(k/m)*t) + c_2*sin(sqrt(k/m)*t). So, the solution to the problem is x(t) = c_1*cos(sqrt(k/m)*t) + c_2*sin(sqrt(k/m)*t) + (1/k)*F
