So each individual marine methodically goes through untold number of universes occupied by nothing but ants, exterminating ants as he goes. Even assuming no ants ever get through to hurt the marine, it would take so long that eventually he would get killed by lightning or an asteroid strike or some other random accident.
If he avoids accidents, at some point in that enormous expanse of time, enough of the radioactive atoms in his body would transition at once that he would die from that burst of radiation.
