Physics is quickly becoming irrelevant and will eventually need to be reclassed as a minor as people realize that you only need so many physicists to keep theory moving forward.
Data science is a meme and shouldn't exist beyond a career workshop class you attend once before taking a job that requires it. Nanoscience is going to end up needing people who are competent in each of the three fields you listed.
You don't have to pick and choose. Add them all together and find the path that makes it possible to do as much of each of them as possible.
