Nootropics part 2

OK, it's been about three weeks of taking 1000mg Lion's mane mushroom daily.

- On the first couple doses, I noticed a slightly increased sensitivity to details (noticing cracks in the wall, dust) and increased motivation. I also got a lot of errands and work done that I'd been putting off.
- On subsequent days, I noticed that I had become uncharacteristically irritable (getting annoyed with things that normally don't annoy me).
- There were also some gastric effects. Nothing too bad, so I'll spare you the details.
- ALL of these effects tapered off and disappeared after 8 or so days. Things went back to normal. The initial surge in awareness and motivation could likely be explained as placebo effects. I'm back to being a horrendous procrastinator.
- On the other hand: on some mornings, I forgot to take the Lion's mane, but then around early afternoon, I'd suddenly remember. As a result, I didn't miss any days. So it's possible there's some subtle property that my body noticed was missing, triggering the reminder. (More nefariously, it could be an addictive property, which would certainly be profitable for the vendor).

But in short: results are negligible so far.

The study now continues.
I will stack 600mg daily of Alpha-GPC on top of the Lion's mane. I have already taken the first dose.
