>>10883162yep your friendly postdoc anon here. you usually get paid enough to live for doing a PhD. and a second job would just be a distraction—better to try and spend spare time getting your thesis research done a year or two quicker and recoup your resultant losses/debts with the 2-5x more per year you will make in your next job instead
