No. Energy loss depends on things like friction which you can't really calculate. You might be able to get fairly close, but friction is really fucking weird in the real world.

Not really. You can look at entropy within the cylinder, but all of that presupposes an ideal cylinder, ideal gas and so on. You find efficiency experimentally.

power loss occurs in the drivetrain due to friction. Just check your compression and troubleshoot from that point on.
