It will have an advantage among others coz CR is more likely to hunt/run away and, as a result, more likely to survive and then breed (you can't fuck someone if you die). If CR had a bad mutation, that makes it slow, we would have a reverse result: CR is less likely to survive than it's bros and sis and cousins etc. And less likely to find a GF/BF and have sex.
