Although if things get that bad we probably won't. It does make sense for google's AGI to fight climate change though. You see it has 'do no evil' built into its core. This means that it can't kill earth with the dyson sphere it is building. You see one of the problems with a dyson sphere is that you heat up any planets inside it. So it has to make a huge 'hole' in the 'sphere' to prevent the earth from getting cooked. The size of this sphere depends on how well earth absorbs IR radiation, which in turn depends on CO2. It is in the mind's best interest to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere.
