Ok so Ive seen people building sugar rockets using about a 60-40 potassium nitrate-sugar mix, and ive head that an 80-20 mix produces a bit more of a violent reaction, with a pop of pressure to release the parachute on the top of the rocket. First, is this true, does more kno3 mean more boom? second, how scalable is this? would a 100% mix burn very violently if in an enclosed space? Thanks guys
