The concept of diversity was first used to convey that idea that a bigger pool of candidates means more choices are possible, so the best person is most likely to be found. So the words of wisdom should be, "no one shall be left out when it comes to application", basically, the pool of *applicants* should be as diverse as possible by including everyone. That does not mean we have to *choose* a diverse set of students. That does not mean there should be quotas or 50% females or some shit, this is retarded
