Who was the most intelligent / remarkable person you have met in your life? Did you part ways or manage to build a relationship or even call him a mentor?

If you're talking about peers, it was a girl in high school. She was a bitch, but I really liked her. She's in medical school now and I'm sure she'll go on to do great things.

Random guy I met in a train. He started talking to me because he saw I was preparing a lecture. Extremely intelligent, apparently never forgets anything.

We did part ways, but exchanged contact details. He will be my mentor, soon. Also offered me a job at his former company. I feel so inadequate.

the smartest two people are a dentist and his son. The father (dentist) became an electrical engineer first, then went into dentistry. His son took a course at university in in statistics, and albeit most likely elementary, he took the courses at the age of 12. The dentist's son became a medical doctor and writes and analyzes medical statistics involved in research papers (because he has a strong mathematics background) //Honorable mention btw: when I was a brainlet. I took a college algebra class and the professor was 80 or something (old) but would do the division and multiplication in his head effortlessly. Although, that is the standard among math professors, that is what drove me into learning more mathematics.

My calculus professor. He studied at Oxford and Yale, and lecionated in Princeton and Yale. unfortunately, he just retired.
Never met someone with the didactics of him.

Your English is actually pretty damn good - better than a lot of native speakers'. The only giveaway is "lecionated", though honestly I find it impressive you were able to make up something that sounds like it could be a word but isn't.

That wasn't why I denied that it was good english, neologisms don't bother me as much as shit style. He's doing a lot better than most ameritards which is unsurprising as most intelligent euros/SA's who learn english tend to be more proficient speakers and writers of the language than native burgers. I wasn't insulting him either, teasing a stranger is not the same thing as being rude to someone without cause.

Which is why I said "pretty damn good" and not "good in all regards".

Did you know Japanese writing doesn't even have spaces between words? Sometimes you can be perfectly fluent in a language yet unable to grasp what constitutes style.
