I dont think so, not the atmosphere was different at this very moment; the Cambrian explosion is also caracterized by it suddenness so I think that if tomorrow the concentration of carbon dioxide drastically increases it will not be enough. Moreover in those days what we call life was only composed of unicellular entity, does life need to create more multicellular creatures when they have already colonise the planet ?
