Hey /sci/.

I'm looking for books (novels, literature..) that involved high skilled math concept. An exemple of a book like that is Flatland by Edwin Abbot (I was 9 when I first read it)

Kinda off topic but I'll take any chance to plug this book because its severely underrated.

If any of you liked flatland you also might like the planiverse, its a way less abstract and more scientifically "rigorous" and thought out approach to the topic of a 2d universe, describing everything from the consequences of only planar molecules existing on chemistry, to the physiology of the possible creatures in such a world.

It even goes the logistics of everyday things like picking up objects, the creature doing it would have to shuffle their legs up and down otherwise a vacuum seal would form in the space between them, their arm, the ground, and the object.

Greg Egan writes hard sci fi that might interest you. I never read anything from him tough.
Other than that, there are plently of intermediate pop sci level physics books

Read Orthogonal & skim though the webpage provided above, then prepare for your search after than to be nothing but a downward spiral as Onthogonal is hands down the furthest reaching storybook about physics that there is.
