Hello /sci/, I just wanted to show this picture because find it so fucking beautiful. It's from an old publication about brain cells and anatomy, just two cell types from a mysterious and super important brain region. A long forgotten world without digital imaging, when researchers had to draw some things by hand to show them to people. Can you imagine that? Go ask a STEM student today, if he can actually draw something, most of them cannot, I guess.
