To create some sort of craft that could withstand the pressures and temperatures inside of gas giants would require boundary-breaking revolutions in physics and materials science that would allow us to create things like forcefields and diamondoid. I won’t say it’s impossible because we ultimately have no idea what future scientists will uncover about the world and what future engineers may construct, and I’m just a dumbass that doesn’t have a degree in either field, but I think I can confidently say that, if such ever does become possible, it’s not going to be any time soon. Not in the coming decades, or in the 2200’s, and maybe not even in two thousand years. Something like that exists in the same technological level as Strong AI’s with “brains” the size of cities or even planetary bodies, interstellar travel, and basement universes. We’d have to make some sort of barrier that isolates the craft from the external environment entirely like a forcefield but if we did so, it wouldn’t be able to take pictures anyway because photons wouldn’t get in.
In contrast, it’d be much, much easier to bore a hole into Europa and explore THAT ocean instead. Europa has much weaker gravity than earth so even at the bottom of its ocean, the PSI is only 16,000, so it wouldn’t be too difficult to make a little submersible to explore that environment.
