The relationship between the three values would be similar to how the colors red, blue and yellow are each other's complements, as opposed to the "black and white" opposing relationship between true or false.
In binary logic, something is either true or false. The best way to describe what I am interested in would be "trinary logic", for lack of a better term.
Just to be clear, I am not referring to superpositions.
