i want to highly “efficientize” my social wardrobe, and I believe there is a math solution to doing so. My question is, if I divide my wardrobe into “buyable” categories like: collared dress shirts, dress pants, casual shirts (polos), casual pants, suit attire, etc., what is he formula to calculate the minimum number of social engagements with a limit of 5 or so for each category before a friend at all of those social engagements can detect a pattern?

I.e. if I have 5 polo shirts of different colors, 5 pairs of different shoes, 5 pairs of different casual pants, etc, how long until someone could perceive a pattern or see the same outfit twice? (Maybe 3 times for the same outfit is the max for that outfit).

I guess I could rephrase this into, what’s the minimum number of clothing items per category I would need to buy per year so it was impossible to perceive I only own x number of each item?
