I believe MS in Statistics is mostly theoretical background behind statistics, rather than applications and data science. If you know basic probability and stats (linear regression, etc) you already have the math base for a data science career. In that case it might be good to do CS, to broaden your career horizons a bit.
Also I would tend to select majors based on what potential careers they open up. Unless you have a ton of money and time to throw away, grad school is a big commitment and better lead to some pay off.
