I am turning 19, i.e starting the last year of high school in Romania, and I will have to pass a baccalaureate exam consisting of exercises like the ones in pic related. Judging by your mathematical intuition alone (since most of you probably don't speak Romanian), is learning how to do this kind of math within a year possible? Just how fucked am I?

Canadian here, that looks like a combination of pre-Calculus and Data Management (or Linear Algebra).

Learnable in a year if you have a foundation of math already, dac? nu îns? e?ti futut.

What are you trying to do after? I certainly don't think you're fucked in the sense of not passing, just maybe not as high a percentile for some applications.

A lot of those questions are fairly simple, just understand the concept of what they're asking, and then little rigorous calculation required.

Well, I have never been good at mathematics, so I am certainly not gonna be doing any more of those.

The Romanian Bac consists of three subjects, and since I was dumb enough to sign up for a "natural sciences" programme, I will have to pass biology and math, on top of the common Romanian language exam. The final grade is an average of the three, so my plan is to get high marks where I can and the lowest passing score (50 points) in the math section.
Is that feasible if I currently have no fucking clue how to even read some of those exercises, let alone solve them?

Materia de a 12 a e usoara, o faci doar un sem, restu pregatire pentru bac (depinde de profesor)

Yeah, it's still quite feasible, but you have to come to acceptance in this moment that you don't have an alternate route so you may as well start now.

Are you thinking of going on to some Polytechnic in the country for something less math heavy, or what?

I'm not planning to do any form of STEM, but college admissions are often influenced by bac results, regardless of whether they concern the major you're applying for or not.

Fa ex, fa subiectul 1 si chiar parte din 2
Fa subiectele din 2013 pana acum de la bac (din sesiunea speciala, olimpici, ce so dat si in vara si in toamna)

Eu personal am avut 4.8 in simularea din sem 2 si cum am zis 9.8 in bac
Am lucrat de cand am intrat in vacanta, dupa premiere chiar, aproapa zilnic cate 2 variante pe zi (faceam o varianta intr o ora deci maxim 2-2.5 ore, trebuie sa faci peste 9 sa zici ca esti pregatit bine) am stat mai mult la romana sa invat comentariile( alt sfat, incepe sa inveti mai devreme sau sa stii cespre ce e vorba si ce trebuie sa inveti)
Fara ajutor, meditatii

Sfatul meu e sa incepi chiar de acum
Cate putin, sa cauti macar sa ai resursele
Nu ca ma laud dar eu is destul de istet si am o memorie buna pe termen scurt, imi permit sa fiu lenes

Mersi. Matematica e singura materie care mi-a pus vreodata probleme. Pana acum am avut 10 la toate mai putin la mate, din cauza unei combinatii de lene, dezinteres si confuzie, dar sunt constient ca ar cam fi cazul sa ma apuc de treaba.

Nu e niciodata prea taeziu sa devii destept
Cum am zis, eu am fost mediocru (am avut si un prof de rahat dar asta e doar o scuza) si am reusit
Numeni de la mine din clasa nu a avut media mai mare de 9 la mate
A mea era 7 in cel mai bun caz
Un semestru ara sa raman corigent, am scos un 5

Durerea de cap e semn bun, inseamna ca ceva se intampla acolo
Un sfat: memoplus 1 pe zi cand planuiesti( cand ai timp) sa inveti/lucrezi mai mult (chiar ajuta)

Dar nu mai mult de o saptaman, efectul dureaza pentru inca 3 saptamani, doar atunci sa mai iei daca vrei

Eu nu puteam sa mai dorm (are si cofeina) si chiar deliram in pat (visam cu ochii deschisi, lol)
Ce e drept asta poate e doar la mine

Mai exact ce face pastila e ca usureaza circuitul sangelui la creier, astfel e mai oxigenat
Nu te ajuta sa memorezi mai repede, ci sa memorezi mai usor fara durere (adica o sa sesiunile de invatare o sa fie mai lungi, nu te doare capul)

I think it's doable. (I don't speak Romanian but I can more or less understand what's being asked due to Romance language and context) Most of this stuff seems basic enough that you could do it in 6 months. Of course, I don't know your current baseline, so you might struggle a little. But most of this seems rather simple, you just have to actually study the subjects and what to do should become clear quite quickly.
If you already know the subjects then it's almost trivial, you'd just have to practice. But if you don't you could get up to speed pretty quickly in my opinion. You might have to put some effort to do it in time though if you're also behind in whichever humanities and/or applied sciences section that test has. If not, then as long as you don't waste your time you can easily pull it off.
Just be careful, if for some reason you have problems with some major section you might not have enough time to address the issue, so I'd recommend you'd start as soon as you can just to be on the safe side.

Yes, that's high school/first year uni math (depending on whether one refers to Europe or America, also taking into account region, quality of school, etc). It's appropriate to your age and totally do-able OP.

For example, I look at first subject, number 4. I can't read the prompt, but root-words in the Romanian and the context of the set lead me to interpret the problem in the following way.

"Consider the set {?1, ?2, ?3, ... ?49}. Calculate the probability that a number chosen at random from the set is a natural number."

These are just the perfect squares, from 1 through 7, out of a set of 49 elements (none of the others are natural numbers). 7/49 = 1/7, the answer (to my possibly re-phrased problem).

Number 2 is also clearly asking for the intersection of a parabola and a line in coordinate space, number 5 is something about some center (a triangle has more than one center, look it up) of a given triangle in coordinate space

a) in the second part seems deceptively easy, like it's just asking you to verify that the determinant is 17. It seems to just want to make sure that you know how 2x2 determinants are computed, but it almost made it too-easy by giving you the answer, it seems. I'm bored so I may continue helping you with your hw.
