Golden ratio is an irrational number. Which means that you can't calculate it by dividing rational numbers.
They say sunflower has a golden ratio pattern. But you CAN count how many seeds a sunflower has. If you can count the seeds then it's a rational number. If it's a rational number then you can't calculate from it an irrational number like the golden ratio.
