Are they actually proven to correct a legit disease?
I readed through wikipedia and some medical blogs, but never read any whitepapers about it.
So I was convinced I had a disease and went to the psychiatric.
He didn't convince me much of having made a diagnostic, he just kind of followed what I had to say about how I feel and live, then gave the recipe for candies, prozac and sleep pills.
I've been at that for more than a year, probably more than two.
I feel better, but will it have an opposite effect if I stop for more than a couple of days?
Serotonin is supposed to be generated not by the pills itself, but by my own body, after being "cured" by the pills.
But if that's true the effect should be permanent, how come the psychiatric doesn't recommend suddenly stopping when I feel better?
Plus, I think my attention span has been shortened.
My brain looks for mental masturbation faster than I remember before. I hope is just me grabbing bad habits and not a symptom of mental degradation.
I have my own doubts and before diving into whitepapers hunting by myself I wanted to see discussion about the topic.
