>>10862056it's called quasi-static. it's shit from the 1980s. basically you have big-ass feet and make a series of 'frames' of more or less animation where in each frame, if the robot was still, it would be stable (the centre of mass is within the outline of whichever foot is on the ground). so, if you moved really slowly through the 'frames', there would be no point at which the robot would tip over. If you went faster, dynamic forces become non-negligible (weight swinging around) so the force line of gravity etc. might move outside the foot and the robot would tip over.
I mean probably it's quasi-static open loop (each step is a pre-scripted movement) plus some force feedback in the knees for a bit more stability.
This robot is NOT a balancing robot. if you pushed it with a broom it would fall over instantly.
You didn't need to technical detail to know this robot is a dumb meme prop because it says right in the title "Korea...". not quite as delusional fantasists (this robot i researched will eventually be my wife) as japan but not much better
