>>10861852Really, the only alternative that I see to human augmentation with cybernetics/synthetic transfer is direct Ascension to a Godlike state where both cognitive ability and possibly the ability to manipulate reality itself not being limited by the "laws" of physics as we currently understand them. For the advancement for humanity, these are the only two possibilities I see; with stagnation and regression being the other possibilities.
The "smart" prediction would be on synthetic intelligence/cybernetic intelligence; however, if the possibility exists for the latter to occur, even if infinitesimal, then the possibility is non-zero, and could occur..... but then if out universe is consciously controlled or deterministic it's possible that the odds are also zero or 100% or possibly both.
