Why aren't there any others out of the 8.7 million species on Earth who can consciously organize a serious fight against us for control of the planet? At best we just have nuisance conflicts like needing to exterminate insects, as opposed to being captured and kept in people zoos ran by sentient komodo dragons or something.
Other traits like flight have nowhere close to a monopoly, but this kind of conscious behavior seems totally monopolistic when you look at it from the "do other species keep zoos" perspective. I know it's popular to be contrarian and say non-human animals are actually just as smart but in different ways from us (e.g. "but ants practice agriculture!"), but I think everyone knows that's contrived bullshit. The intelligence monopoly is very real.
