Anyway. The sperm isn't the thing which animates the otherwise inanimate egg. The sperm doesn't even contribute a mitochondria ffs, it just hits some outer surface receptor and triggers the zona reaction. It's not like the electricity of a charged battery, or the soul, or whatever.
