Yes, everyone who blames onions/tofu on the "death of masculinity" and "feminization of men" is retarded. Phytoestrogens are too weak to have a significant effect on humans. Tofu is a perfectly valid meat substitute for people who happen to not like meat, and not eating meat is NOT an indicator of lack of masculinity or "pussification". That is a construct that the meat industry created in commercials to make you buy more meat. Many tribes around the world have a plant-based diet without much hunting, and the men are perfectly strong. A chimpanzee's diet is 95% fruit, and they can fuck up the world's strongest human. Even if phytoestrogens were strong enough to effect the human endocrine system, you're making a big deal out of nothing. Sex hormones don't affect personality and culture as much as you think. Testosterone doesn't make you a based alt-right Trump supporter, and estradiol doesn't make you a pussy SJW. Those are highly abstract rational concepts that are far separated from the ancient endocrine system. Testosterone is overhyped and it's not some kind of mythological sacred "essence of masculinity, food for a man's spirit, driver of confidence". It's just a hormone that tells your beard hair follicles to grow a beard, and gives you muscle. by the way, America is the only country with such a strong association between muscles and "masculinity". Hunter gatherer males were often very skinny because they hunted prey by chasing them for long distances, not by ripping them apart with their bare hands like the meat industry wants you to think. Muslim countries imagine masculinity as being in personality and face, not muscle.
