Maybe Landau? The sixth volume of his theoretical physics series is about fluid mechanics, I haven't read it but the series is considered very good. Maybe someone who has read it can give his opinion about it?

Who does the covers for these textbooks? Is there like a specific job for it at publishers or in unis? Academic book covers often look really cool

I have that same book, passed Fluid Mechanics last year and it helped fine.
I am ass at fluids tho, I dont even remember what laminar flow means...

Kundu is really good.
A lot of people like Batchelor.
My favourite is Chorin.
