Cultural "Marxism" is a movement of the 60s. Since the proletariat had supposedly "betrayed" the revolutionary ideal, Cultural Marxism discards the class struggle narrative. Instead it creates a new narrative with oppressed and oppressors, instead of bourgeoisie and proletariat.
The oppressed are delinquents, blacks, women, transgenders whatever. The oppressors are... well, the old proletariat (working class). It is a top-down capitalist movement of the elites using the "oppressed" to control the working class.
Examples of Cultural Marxism: postcolonial X (where X is any discipline), critical theory (it is neither), feminism, identity politics, intersectionality etc.
