Chemistry thoughts

If you add hydrofluoric acid to water, you get hydronium and fluoride. This is a balanced buffet solution.

If you then add sodium fluoride, the fluoride will push eq to the left and use up some fluoride. What happens to the sodium cation? Does this leave an imbalance? Or not, because for every fluoride reversed, it grabs an h+, therefore no extra fluoride is possibly pushed to the left than what was originally there just from the buffer? So the sodium is still balanced with fluoride? Adding the NaF only serve to push eq?

Also no, is not homework. Just thinking, and not had chemistry for few years, forgetting. I try looking up but none websites mention cation or buffer salt. Also sorry for my English.
