/sci/, do you go to the doctors? between the vaccinations and unnecessary drugs, I’ve stopped going all together. I also haven’t been vaccinated in years. do you still go to the doctors, and if so, why? also, if you don’t, why?

I'm a med student and I stopped going once I realized the morons who study with me are going to be treating people one day. They may or may not think the same of me but I'd rather die than receive treatment from one of them.

The justification all depends on the doctor. It depends on whether or not they sympathize with the individual patient and have some degree of an empathetic desire to help the patient over a simple desire for money

Took me 3 tries to find a good psychiatrist. I have issues with alcohol and hes admitted he has an issue to a certain degree. Hes also very experienced which is important. The other 2 psychs saw me as a bag of money and really didnt give a shit. One of them had a big fat harvard degree framed, which has made me really not give a shit about where they studies. Its much more about personal connection and the particular doctors experience. If you want a trully beneficial doctor, youll either get real lucky or you will have to move from one to the other until you find one that really wants to help you.
