I'm so fucking pressed about this. I get it. Biology is not a real science. It's just so fucking depressing to see literally no jobs available outside of academia for what is arguably a really important branch of science. It feels like such a well drying up or a bubble, like it seems really unsustainable to just have a lopsided system where there are tons of biology/zoology/environmental science/animal science undergrads and obviously all of them can't get into academia so they're just supposed to be jobless? And then in the future less people get these sorts of degrees, and eventually we have pretty much only people with phDs and Masters degrees in this field and no undergrads. Why the fuck do they even offer this in college.
