I've always been interested in the theory of panspermia and I wanted to know what is /sci/'s opinion of it? What is the possibility that panspermia could have occurred with fungal spores? I think it is interesting that several species of fungus have evolved their spores to have an outer layer of purple, which allows them to withstand UV rays in space.
