This may be a topic for a stupid question thread but i find it really interesting to think about and maybe you will too. So we know how electromagnetic radiation exudes a mechanical force on a object that the photons come in contact with. Behaving as if the photons (Which are mass-less) have some kind of mechanical mass to be related to momentum. So my question is , lets say a beam emits a continuous cross-sectional beam of photons into a mirror that reflects back perfectly to the photon source. So it is proven that the photon beams emit some force onto the mirror. Hypothetically speaking , if there is no deviation in angle, would the reflected photon beams refect from the mirror and then again on the next wave of emitted photons? Thus photons emitting a force on themselves , stopping the beam mid air? Is this possible ?
