CS has slowed down the least since 1970 (the beginning of the dark age we're in), I can't imagine people in CS are less capable compared to Bio, which is a scam for government money at this point

I get why people think pursuing the field exclusively isn't a good idea, but the outright derision toward any notion of programming is pretty ridiculous. People literally brag about not knowing how to program on this board.

Why is it not a good idea exlucisively? Considering doing it as I didn't get into engineering physics. Where I am from degrees are joint so the you get a Bsc. And msc.

If I would've gotten into engineering physics I would've combined it with a msc.

Now I'm going to do a CS Bsc + relevant msc but have not decided on msc.

I want to work in ML research or algo finance.
