Why is there so much misinformation on climate change?

I always hear so much shit about how using cardboard cups and aluminum will save the planet when the real biggest influences on climate change are things we could never live without.

Listed below are the sectors with the objective biggest impact on climate change.

1. Agriculture.
No competition, humanity's BIGGEST use of energy and resources by far. Every day we feed and house hundreds of millions of animals for use as food or materials.

2. Surface (Sea) Cargo
Cargo container ships transporting raw resources and cargo spew out ungodly amounts of pollution due to extremely inefficient engines and fuel used.

3. Air Travel
While newer aircraft are more fuel efficient, the thousands of airliners flying around every day contribute massively to pollution in the atmosphere. With tourism increasing, this will only get worse.

So we've identified the problems. The solution then would be for everyone to go vegan, everything you need to be produced in your country of residence and for no-one to travel by air. It's plausible but practically impossible.

No, using metal straws and using recycling bins will not save the world.
