Can we have a thread venting about the outsourcing of academia?
I'm a grad student at a major publicly funded research institution in the U.S.

All I ever fucking hear in the halls and the elevators is chinese.

All the undergrads I've run lab sessions with complain how they couldn't learn shit from their previous TA's because they were barely understandable and didn't care about the students

I have to share an office with two of these bugmen and they always have insects from other hives come visit them, and they speak loudly in their disgusting insect language and reheat their disgusting rotten garbage smelling food; all while I'm trying to work

And don't get me started on the fucking brushing of teeth in the public restroom -
Drives me up a fucking wall
